Randolph and Sweet Home win in Far West Regionals

Buffalo, N.Y. (WIVB.com) - Today Section VI's Sweet Home faced Section V's Eastridge in the Far West Regionals at All-High Stadium. Both teams entered the game with a 10-0 record. The game came down to overtime. Sweet Home scored on fourth and goal from the 19. The Panthers will advance to the state semifinals for the first time since 2009.

In Class D Randolph matched up against Avon. Randolph had a big game from their running back Jordan Dowiasz, who helped lead the Cardinals to 34-14 victory. The Cardinals will also advance to the state semifinals next weekend.
