BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - In search of healthy defensemen, the Sabres called up Adam Pardy from Rochester tonight.

Pardy, who cleared waivers after missing the cut during training camp, put up one goal and two assists with the Americans.

Sabres Head Coach Lindy Ruff said today, he could have a couple players who will be doubtful for Tuesday's game at Ottawa.

In other injury notes, Ruff said forward Patrick Kaleta is progressing well and will likely resume skating this week. Kaleta is on the injured list with a neck injury.

Ville Leino, on the other hand, could be out for the season if his injured hip does not respond to a new treatment. Leino skated on a line with Mikhail Grigorenko and Steve Ott in training camp, but hurt himself before the season began.
