MacArthur Chooses Salary Arbitration

Sabres Center looks for pay raise

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) - Sabres center Clarke MacArthur will let his salary be determined by arbitration.  That's according to a list released by the NHL Players Association.  NHLer's have until 5pm Monday to make that decision.

MacArthur, who played 71 games last season, earned $522,500 dollars during the 2008-09 campaign.  He scored 17 goals and totaled 31 points, ranking sixth on the Sabres scoring list. 

The salary arbitration hearings will be held in Toronto from July 20 to August 4.
