New Sabres jersey designs leaked

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) - The website Icethetics.info has obtained what it says are leaked photos of new Sabres jerseys.
The new designs have a retro look to celebrate the team's 40th anniversary. The site has photos of both the home and road jerseys. These alternate jerseys will be worn during selected home and away games during the 2010 - 2011 season.

The home jersey has the word "Buffalo" across the front in what looks to be a nod to jerseys worn by the Buffalo Bisons of the American Hockey League.
The Sabres are set to officially announce the new jerseys during a practice event at HSBC Arena on September 18th.
The Sabres first pre-season game is on Sat. Sept. 25th against the Maple Leafs at HSBC Arena. >> view the full schedule here
