BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The fans were loud inside and outside the arena.
Sabres staff took an extra measure to keep happy fans from becoming too rowdy.
Even though the Sabres lost, fans are still standing behind the team.
Fans went to Party in the Plaza and there were a couple of differences seen on Saturday.
Each fan can only buy three beers when they come because organizers don't want things to get out of hand.
The weather was also much different, at about 30 degrees less and everyone at the arena could feel it.
A couple of hundred showed up at Party in the Plaza, compared to thousands on Thursday.
However, the energy and enthusiasm was just as strong.
One fan exclaimed, "I thought it was awesome. I came up from Virginia and it's my birthday today! I was disappointed about the final but it was a good game."
Connor remarked, "I think we could have done better, but I'm still kind sad it was 4 to 3."
In addition, AT & T installed a cell site on wheels at the arena, which allows more people to call, text, and tweet.
News 4's Tricia Cruz brings the latest on the party in the plaza.
