Ruff on Miller: "He doesn't feel good."

Myers scratched from lineup

MONTREAL (WIVB) - While providing no definitive update on his goalie's status, Sabres coach Lindy Ruff said Ryan Miller "doesn't feel good." Miller suffered a concussion on Saturday when he was hit by the Bruins Milan Lucic.

Ruff did not say how long Miller would be out.  Jhonas Enroth will start against the Canadiens.

Ruff is making one change.  He is taking struggling defenseman Tyler Myers out of the lineup.  He'll be scratched for the first time in his career.  Mike Weber will replace Myers.

Lucic is having a hearing with the NHL at 1pm EST on Monday.  But Ruff says there needs to be a suspension to send a proper message.

"If he isn't suspended, it just means teams will be able to do exactly what Lucic did.  Your goaltender can play the puck, we can run them over, we can hurt them, and all you get is a two minute minor penalty.  You can concuss the goaltender, make no attempt to get out of the way, and it's fair game on goaltenders."

Ruff says the lack of response from Miller's teammates has been dealt  with, and he hopes it makes the Sabres a better team.
