BUFFALO, NY (WIVB.COM) - The Buffalo Sabres have signed 2006, 5th round draft pick, Alex Biega to a one-year, two-way contract.
The 5'10" defenseman spent last season with the Rochester Americans of the AHL where he recorded 23 points in 65 games (5+18).
Biega has appeared in 126 career AHL games over two seasons, collecting 41 points, 99 penalty minutes and a +28 rating. He played his college hockey at Harvard.
