BUFFALO(WIVB) - The Sabres look to extend their win streak to 3 game tonight when they host the underachieving Senators. Ottawa currently sits 12th in the Eastern Conference.
Ales Kotalik, Sabres forward: "Now it's Ottawa's turn to not be as good as they use to be. We've been in the same situation, we know how it feels. It's a grind and for this team, we just have to be worried about us. "
The Sabres come into tonight's game in the 8th and final playoff spot.
Captain Craig Rivet will return to the line-up after missing the past 11 games with a shoulder injury. A pair of defenseman are questionable. Toni Lydman is sick. Teppo Numminen skated this morning, but missed yesterdays practice due to illness. Lindy Ruff said he wasn't sure if Numminen would be ready to go. Either way, Chris Butler is staying in the line-up.
The healthy scratches will be Nathan Paetsch. Andrew Peters will play, unless Ruff decides to dress 7 defenseman.
