AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - She's sprinting her way toward a stellar college career. This month's female scholar athlete is from Amherst.
Once they get the snow off the track at Amherst High School, Ashley Fields can go back to being one of the area's most dominant sprinters. Fields is a state record holder, a Junior Olympics champion and owner of a full scholarship to Baylor, which has one of the best track programs in the country.
