BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - He didn't let a knee injury cut short his achievement on the field or in the classroom this year. Lafayette High School's Jabari Gordon maintained his high standards.
Gordon only played three games before he tore a knee ligament last fall. But he played three outstanding games and he continued his outstanding work in the classroom as well. Gordon is March's male scholar athlete.
Jabari Gordon transferred to Lafayette from O'Hara High school last year. He was the Monsignor Martin League's Defensive Player of the Year in 2009.
