LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) - Lockport senior Karly Hartz is a star in the classroom, with an "A" average, and a record-breaker in the pool. She is also News 4's November scholar athlete.

Hartz started on the varsity team her freshman year and srt the high school 200 freestyle record her sophomore year. During her senior year, she would re-break her own record. Now she's heading to Canisius College, where she will swim for their team.
