BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - City Honors senior Seamus Degan has the drive to be the best at whatever he does. He has applied that drive to both academics and athletics as he boasts an impressive laundry list of honors as both a runner and a scientist.
Degan is a two-time Buffalo Public Schools cross country champion and has won four All-High Medals. In track and field, he is the Section VI 2012 Class C Cross Country Champion. On top of his 4.02 weighted GPA, Degan participates in the City Honors Science Research Program, which allows high school student to perform research at Roswell Park.
Degan hopes to one day be an oncologist amd plans to run at a Division I program in college.
