ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Sweet Home and Randolph both earned a trip to the Carrier Dome with state semifinal victories Friday night in Rochester.

The Panthers took down Union-Endicott in the Class A semifinals, erasing an early 14-0 deficit to win 40-22.  Sweet Home scored 21 unanswered points in the second half to advance to the state finals for the third time in five years.

Randolph slipped past Tioga 7-6 in the Class D semi's. The Cardinals scored on their opening drive when Mitchell Maycock tossed a touchdown pass to Nathan Beaver. That 7-0 lead stood until the fourth quarter, when Tyler Spires found the end zone for Tioga.  The Tigers went for the two-point conversion, but Spires came up short of the goal line. Randolph ran out the clock to preserve the win.

Orchard Park and Alden will take their turns Saturday in Rochester in the Class AA and B semifinals, respectively.
