WASHINGTON, D.C. (WIVB.com) - The St. Bonaventure women's basketball team traveled to the nation's capital to take on George Washington University in a nationally televised game. After falling behind by 14 midway through the second half, the Bonnies began to rally back. However, GW survived and defeated St. Bonaventure 57-52. The loss likely ends the Bonnies chances for a bid in the A-10 tournament.
In the loss the Bonnies' freshman forward Katie Healy registered a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Doris Ortega and Alaina Walker added 12 apiece.
