BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Super Bowl may not be for another two weeks, but this Sunday it's the Pro Bowl. Today three Bills players have been added to the roster as alternates, running back CJ Spiller, safety Jairus Byrd and defensive tackle Kyle Williams. The three Bills players were named to the AFC squad today, replacing super bowl-bound Baltimore Ravens Ray Rice, Haloti Ngata and Ed Reed.
Running back CJ Spiller was a very bright spot in a dark season for the Bills. He ran for a career-best 1,244 yards on just 207 carries and had six touchdowns. This will be his first Pro Bowl.
Williams had five sacks and 46 tackles this past season. This will be his second Pro Bowl appearance.
Byrd, who played behind Williams was tied for the AFC-lead with a team-best five interceptions.
