AMHERST, NY (WIVB) - Football may be just a game, but the UB Bulls are no longer playing for the fun of it. Wednesday they have their first MAC Conference game of the season. They play Kent State at home. Both teams are 1-1 on the season so far so the fight for the top spot in the division has begun.
“It’s a fight for the top spot in the league right now and this one is big for both teams," said Jeff Quinn, Bulls Head Coach, "and I fully anticipate a tremendous battle for four quarters and I certainly know our players are geared up for that and our coaches are too. That’s what’s exciting about it and its going to be right here in our home field."
The Bulls take on Kent State 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at U.B. Stadium.
