AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - Linebacker Khalil Mack will be back for his senior football season at UB, after thinking about entering the NFL draft.
Mack, a two-time first-team All-MAC selection, already holds the program record for forced fumbles (11) and tackles for loss (56). He is just 19 tackles for loss away from the NCAA record.
“Khalil understands the importance of earning his college degree,” head coach Jeff Quinn said in a press release. “That along with competing for championships are the two expectations we have for every one of our players and Khalil understands that.”
Mack will be one of 17 starters returning next season. He says he returned to earn his degree and make a run at a championship.
