MEMPHIS - After going undrafted Thursday, former UB star Mitchell Watt rebounded nicely today, earning an invitation to play for the Memphis Grizzlies' summer league team.
Watt tells News 4 Sports, he also had heavy interest from the NBA Champion Miami Heat.
The MAC Player of the Year struggled with Guillain-Barre' syndrome early in his career at UB, but put himself on the NBA radar with a breakout senior season for the Bulls.
With a strong showing the summer league, Watt could earn himself a contract.
