UB's Tony Watson capped off a career week on the hardwood by earning MAC East Co-Player of the Week honors today.
Watson torched the nets for 55 points in two wins last week, scoring a career-high 24 against Toledo before topping that with 31 points at Miami (OH).
He shot 68% from the field during that stretch, including 67% from three-point land (12-of-18).
Watson is the third UB player this season to earn Player of the Week honors, joining Will Regan and Javon McCrea.
McCrea and Watson also account for three of the four games this season where a MAC player has scored at least 31 points.
UB will host Manhattan this Saturday in the Bracket Buster.
