STANLEY, N.Y. (WIVB) - A 37-year-old man from Stanley, New York man is accused of stalking a woman and sending her disturbing letters.
State Police say a 23-year-old woman contacted them, saying she was receiving disturbing letters from David E. Drake II. The victim told police she had only seen Drake II once, at a restaurant she worked at in Lake Placid.
Police say Drake II sent letters to the woman, accompanied by several hand drawn cartoons that are of a graphic sexual nature. Some letters allegedly contained photocopies of pictures obtained from the victim's Facebook page, with descriptions of sexual acts.
Drake II was charged with third-degree obscenity, third-degree stalking and second-degree aggravated harassment.
