Good Thursday from Meteorologist Mike Cejka:
Exceptional late winter weather is on tap Thursday. We will see a decent amount of sun with a wide range of temperatures. Northeasterly breezes will keep Niag./Orleans Co's and the Chaut. Co. shore cooler in the upper 40's, to around 60 elsewhere. Clouds increase tonight and even though it will be a cloudier finish to the week, it should be rainfree most of the time. A storm passing south of the region Saturday-Sunday will make for a fairly soggy weekend. A soaking rain developing on Saturday will be steadier and maybe heavier south of the Metro. The rain should start to taper during a windy Sunday Afternoon. Due to the recent meltdown and the anticipated weekend rainfall, the flooding potential will be closely monitored by WeatherWatch 4.
THURSDAY AFTERNOON; Sunny with Unseasonable Warmth, Some High Clouds Late, High: near 60, cooler Niag./Orleans Co's. and the Chaut. Co. shore, Wind: ENE 4-10/10-15. Increasing Clouds overnight, Chance of a Shower, Low: 43-47.
