Letchworth Arts & Crafts Show & Sale
Columbus Day weekend: October 10, 11 & 12, 2009
This year's theme is "Ride the Wind."
The Letchworth Arts & Crafts Show & Sale®,sponsored by the Arts Council for Wyoming County, presents thefinest of artists, artisans, and craftspeople from all over thecountry. The show takes place from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday andSunday and from 10 am to 4 pm on Monday at the Highbanks RecreationArea of Letchworth State Park.
Enjoy peak fall foliage at the spectacular "Grand Canyon of theEast" .
Admission and parking for the craft show are free with $6 percar entrance to the park. Handicapped parking is available alongwith curbside pickup of heavy purchases. Shuttle bus service isprovided free within the park and is also available for $3 roundtrip from the parking lot of American Outfitters on Rte. 39 inPerry.
Taste of Amish and Flea Market

Peek'n Peak Resort
Peek’n Peak Resort and Spa will host their 22nd annualFall Festival the weekends of October 10 & 11 and October 17& 18. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. eachday. New for 2009, the Peak has asked that guests bring a can offood for local charity in exchange for free admission.
This year’s festivities include a craft show with over 90vendors, lift rides among the turning leaves, a farmers’market featuring locally grown products, horse drawn carriagerides, a petting zoo, pony rides and more. Kids are welcome toenjoy crafts, bounce houses, activities and entertainment withmagician Bruce Kikola, juggler Bob Nickerson, the Cap’n KidsPirate Show and more. On Sunday, October 11 the 12th annual TurningLeaves Classic Car Cruise-in will ride in to the Peak. There is a$2 donation to park, a 50/50 drawing and door prizes with proceedsbenefiting Shriner’s Hospital. The cruise-in is sponsored bythe Southern Tier Classic Chevy Club.
