BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The breathtaking growth of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus comes with some growing pains.
Monday night, the Fruit Belt Task Force heard concerns from residents of McCauley Gardens. They're upset about reports that the campus may buy up the complex and force them to relocate.
Veronica Hemphill-Nichols of the task force stated, "Right now there's really no plan that St. John has as far as re-locating the residents. They want to stay where they are, you know, some of them have been there for 20, 30 years."
St. John Baptist and Ellicott Development have been assuring residents that no re-location will occur without creating even better housing at a new location.
