BUFFALO, N.Y. (RELEASE) - The City of Buffalo and Independent Nursing Care are sponsoring the annual Flu Shot Clinic in anticipation of the upcoming influenza season. Participants will be able to receive flu vaccines, administered by certified medical professionals.
The Clinic will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at City Hall, in Senior Services - Room 8A.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that all people age 6 months and older receive a flu shot, to stay health during the flu season and to avoid the spread of influenza by individuals who may be at high risk. Vaccinations are the best form of protection against the flu. Flu shot clinics are easily accessible and an efficient way to receive immunization.
