BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A thriving shopping destination on Buffalo's west side is serving as a stepping stone for entrepreneurs.
The West Side Bazaar held its official ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday. The market started up in 2011 and is growing each year. Buffalo residents who have come from all over the world are selling handmade gifts, clothing, and food.
Westminster Economic Development Initiative President Bonnie Smith said, "We think that our being here will make this part of the west side and this part of the Grant-Ferry area a destination for all of Buffalo."
The West Side Bazaar now features 20 vendors - who come from several countries including Burma or Myanmar, Ethiopia, and Rwanda.
