AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - The popular burger chain Five Guys Burgers will be opening in Amherst next week.
Five Guys Buffalo reports via their Facebook page that they're still on track to open its doors September 21 at 8248 Transit Road, just north of Maple and Greiner roads. A second location is planned for the Walden Galleria.
Eventually they plan on a total of eight more locations in western New York.
The chain is famous for its never-frozen beef patties and crispy French fries served in paper bags.
