LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) - Four people were arrested Thursday after the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, working with State Police and the NYS Liquor Authority, conducted an underage alcohol enforcement detail throughout the county.
In all, authorities visited 20 convenience stores, most of which were found to be in compliance. But four store clerks allowed an underage operative to purchase alcohol and were subsequently arrested, including:
- 32-year-old Dawn Blair of Lockport, employed at Kenyons on Lincoln Avenue in Lockport
- 19-year-old Kayla Knight of Lockport, employed at Manning's Corner Store in Lockport
- 29-year-old Russel Stewart II of Niagara Falls, employed at Hyde Park Mini Mart in Niagara Falls
- 68-year-old Donald Snell of Gasport, employed at Snell's Service in Gasport
All four have been charged with first degree unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibited sales.
