ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - A vehicle struck a power pole in Orchard Park Thursday around 4:15 a.m. and fled the scene. The crash caused a power outage and caused numerous traffic lights to go out.
Police say witnesses told them a black pick-up truck struck the pole on Taylor Road, and fled the scene with heavy front-end damage. Police located the suspect on Thorn Avenue, and driver 23-year-old Joshua Nyitrai was taken into custody.
