ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) - An Orchard Park attorney is now on the other side of the law. The Erie County District Attorney's Office says 66-year-old Thomas Wojciechowski stole approximately $340,000 from his clients.
Wojciechowski admits to stealing the money from his clients between March 2006 and July 2012. Wojciechowski, as a partner at Bouvier Partnership, LLP law firm, deposited money owed to his clients in his personal accounts. He also admits not reporting these earnings on his income tax returns.
In a press release, DA Sedita said, "Having embezzled from his clients, having chiseled his partners, and having cheated on his taxes, Mr. Wojciechowski now stands before the bar as a convicted felon."
Wojciechowski pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree grand larceny, two counts of third-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal tax fraud and evasion of income tax. He faces 16 to 48 years in state prison when he is sentenced in August.
