BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Jawaan Daniels was shot and killed at a bus stop on his way homefrom school.
A Buffalo school spokesperson tells News 4, 15-year-old JawaanDaniels was suspended last Friday. That was the day he waskilled.
The Lafayette High School freshman was shot to death at a westside bus stop. It was just after 1 p.m. at West Delavan and GrantStreet. The boy managed to cross Grant Street and then collapsed.He later died at ECMC.
Police told News 4 they do not know who shot him, but they aremaking progress in the investigation.
Jawaan's mother did not want to go on camera but tells News 4,the school did contact her last week to say Jawaan wassuspended.
Right now, it is unclear if the suspension and the shooting areconnected.
