SOMERSET, N.Y. (WIVB) - Deputies accompanying Child Protective Services during a home visit ended up arresting a man for growing marijuana in his home.
The Niagara County Sheriff's Office went with caseworkers to a home on Lake Road in Somerset Wednesday afternoon, and while there, deputies noted a strong odor of marijuana coming from the home. The Drug Task Force was called to the scene, and investigators also noted the strong odor of marijuana.
A search warrant was issued, and authorities seized several pounds of processed and unprocessed marijuana.
Ralph Fuller IV was arrested and charged with first degree criminal possession of marijuana, unlawfully growing cannabis, and unlawfully dealing with a child.
The 49-year-old was arraigned and taken to the Niagara County Jail on $2,000 bail.
