LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) - Detectives are looking for the woman who robbed the Cornerstone Community Credit Union in the Town of Lockport.
The Niagara County Sheriff's Office says around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, the credit union called to report the robbery at their South Transit Road location. The suspect is described as a heavyset black woman around 5'4" who was wearing a black turban and a blue flannel jacket.
Deputies quickly responded to the scene and discovered the suspect is a customer of the credit union. Patrols located the vehicle believed to be used in the robbery and interviewed the male driver.
So far, no arrests have been made, but deputies are looking for the female suspect.
