BOSTON, N.Y. (WIVB) - Deputies say after a driver went off the road, across a lawn and struck a well cover, he remained passed out behind the wheel until they arrived and placed him under arrest.
The Erie County Sheriff's Office responded to Hillcrest Avenue in the Town of Boston around 3:20 p.m. on Tuesday and found Keith Mandeville behind the wheel of the vehicle. Deputies say the 36-year-old Hamburg man was driving on a license that had been suspended for a separate DWI arrest.
Mandeville refused to complete field sobriety tests or submit to a breath test to determine his BAC. Regardless, he was arrested for DWI and felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
He was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment.
