AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - Amherst Police are searching for a female shoplifter who stole hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from grocery stores, they say.
The robberies took place on May 23 and 24th, where the suspect was caught on security photos. She was last seen pushing out groceries from local stores worth several hundred dollars.
The suspect is described as a heavy-set white female, likely in her early 20's, with brown hair. During both robberies, she was seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and black pants. She also had a ring on her left ring finger.
