MAYVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - Merchandise was damaged when police say a man became angry inside a store on the southern tier and started hurling items around.
Deputies were called to Crosbys Market in Mayville around 7:04 p.m. on Sunday. The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office reports 46-year-old Douglas Fischer was inside the store when he became irate with staff and started yelling obscenities.
Fischer then allegedly pushed a customer, flipped over a newspaper stand and a sunglass stand, and damaged several items.
Deputies took him into custody and charged him with third degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
