BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - State Police working in the City of Buffalo located a stolen vehicle and arrested the driver on multiple charges.
On Tuesday, troopers arrested 22-year-old Rashawn Austin. Police say Austin was driving a 2013 Dodge Dart on Broadway Street that had been reported stolen the previous day. Authorities arrested Austin and say they also found his license is suspended and expired, and nine 1-gram bags of marijuana were in the vehicle.
Austin is charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property, fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property, unlawful possession of marijuana, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and second degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
To top it off, Austin was wanted on a bench warrant in Buffalo for second degree criminal impersonation.
Troopers turned him over to Buffalo Police.
