SENECA NATION - Deputies say a Seneca Nation man couldn't outrun a second DWI.
The Erie County Sheriff's Office stopped 40-year-old Desmond Jimerson on Longhouse Road around 12:30 p.m. on Monday and say he took off on foot through backyards. He was caught a short distance away and subdued.
Jimerson has a prior DWI conviction and multiple driving suspensions as well as a revoked license due to alcohol-related offenses. He was arrested and charged with felony DWI, felony aggravated unlicensed operation and second degree obstructing governmental administration.
The Seneca Nation man was also wanted on two warrants, one out of the Town of Evans and the other by the Erie County Sheriff's Office.
After being arraigned, Jimerson was taken to the Erie County Holding Center on $1,000 bail.
