POMFRET, N.Y. (WIVB) - Sheriff's responded to a report of a vehicle that crashed into a ditch in the Town of Pomfret around 2:18 Saturday morning.
James B. Schroeder, 45, of Fredonia was driving his vehicle on Farel Road when he veered off the road and crashed into a ditch.
The Fredonia man was allegedly driving his car while intoxicated. He was arrested for DWI.
This is Schroeder's second felony following his prior felony DWI conviction he got within the past 10 years.
After resfuing a breath test, he was taken for arraignment in the Town of Pomfret Court.
Shroeder was then taken to the Chautauqua County Jail. His drivers license was immediately suspended pending further action from the DMV.
