ARKWRIGHT, N.Y. (WIVB) - A man riding an illegal dirt bike on the southern tier was issued multiple tickets.
Troopers were called to the Town of Arkwright on reports of a man driving recklessly on a yellow dirt bike. State Police responded and handed 21-year-old Aaron Popielarz a dozen tickets.
Authorities say he was driving recklessly, failed to stop at a stop sign, was not wearing a helmet or safety goggles, had an inadequate muffler, no insurance, no headlight, no registration plate, no rear view mirror, the dirt bike was unregistered and uninsured, and Popielarz did not have the proper class on his driver's license.
He is due in court to answer the charges in early January.
