COUDERSPORT, PA. (WIVB) - The music teacher charged with killing his ex-wife in church has reportedly been on the government's radar.
A newspaper reports the FBI had been investigating Greg Eldred before Sunday's tragedy in Coudersport, Pennsylvania. There's no word on why federal agents had him under the microscope.
Police say Eldred walked into First United Presbyterian and shot Darlene Sitler while she was playing the organ during last Sunday's service and then forced his way back in and shot her again.
Eldred is charged with first-degree murder.
