BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) - Buffalo Police say, 21-year-old Christopher Iverson was fatally shot while sitting in a vehicle Saturday morning.
The shooting occurred in the first block of St. Mary's Road, near Walden Avenue, around 1:40 a.m. Iverson was found in a vehicle by officers responding to the "shots fired" call. He was rushed to ECMC, where he later died.
Police have learned that several shots were apparently fired by a gunman who then fled on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, who was last seen wearing an orange colored hooded sweatshirt, and grey sweatpants.
