LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) - A man who committed a horrifying attack against a little girl in Lockport was sentenced Monday to 15 years behind bars.
David Alfonso, 29, pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of attempted first-degree assault as part of a plea deal. He was originally charged with attempted murder.
Alfonso attacked a 7-year-old girl on New Year's Eve, causing injuries to her neck, throat, jaw, tongue and teeth. The details of the bizarre attack can be found here.
