Chautauqua County (WIVB) - Parents are reacting with anger, after hearing what theirchild's bus driver is accused of doing.
Authorities said 4-year-old Anna Kielar had already left theschool van that took her to Pine Valley Elementary in ChautauquaCounty, when a school staffer happened to approach the vehicle thatwas still parked in the school lot.
Chautauqua County District Attorney, David Foley said, "Cameupon the bus driver and witnessed the bus driver exposinghimself."
The 33-year-old driver, Daniel Noody of Silver Creek lateradmitted to masturbating, according to the D.A.
Anna's mother, Michelle Kielar exclaimed, "I trusted him for afew months now, taking my daughter to school, and he has brokenthat trust now. I'm very worried for the safety of my daughter. Hasshe been harmed or hasn't she?"
Anna has been having nightmares that began after she was drivento school by Daniel Noody, according to her parents.
They said she indicated to a counselor that the driver alwayshad his hands on his lap.
Anna's father, Thomas Kielar remarked, "Then she referred to'that's when the monster will come', something she's been waking upwith nightmares hysterically at night."
They said Anna pointed to the genital area of a doll, whenthe counselor asked her about her reference to a monster.
"I've noticed some changes in her behavior. For the last fewmonths, she's been having nightmares screaming 'monster!' A lot ofanger when I would put her on the bus in the morning. She was veryupset," her mother commented.
David Foley explained, "At this time, we have no informationthat would suggest that this bus driver had any contact with thisparticular child that he had been transporting, or any other childfrom the school."
Carrier Coach, which transports children with special needs, hasfired Daniel Noody.
Carrier Coach Executive Vice President, Scott Howard stated,"The responsibility on me was, this guy cannot transport people forCarrier Coach or anybody..."
Carrier said Noody had been hired after a thorough backgroundcheck that found no record or history of anything wrong.
Daniel Noody has been charged with public lewdness andendangering the welfare of a child.
That last charge is based on the possibility that the driver'salleged actions could potentially have been witnessed by childrenbecause he was on school property.
