Buffalo Police say there have been a number of recent incidents in the D'Youville College area where pedestrians talking on their cell phones had the electronic devices snatched from their fingers. The suspect or suspects then fled.
Police warn everyone to not be distracted while using electronic devices and to remain aware of your surroundings. Also, if possible, travel in groups.
