COVINGTON, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Wyoming County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of an underage drinking party early Monday morning at a remote location, far off a roadway in the Town of Covington. Police say many people fled the scene on foot, however, they apprehended 91 people.
The sheriff's office says 73 of the people they apprehended were under the age of 21 and 11 were under the age of 17, one being 15 years old. According to the sheriff's office, the remaining alcohol at the scene was destroyed and everyone was secured a safe and sober ride home.

Officials say Robert Jeffres, 20, and 19-year-olds Kailene Jeffres and Alex Jeffres, all from Wyoming, coordinated the party. All three are charged with unlawfully dealing with a child, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal nuisance and conspiracy. They will appear in Covington Court at a later date.
The Erie County Sheriff's Bomb Squad, ATF, and the Buffalo Police Department were called to Tioga Street near Fairchild Place in North Buffalo just before midnight Thursday.
