BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A vehicle reported stolen in the Lackawanna was found in Buffalo being driven by an 18-year-old man, State Police say.
Troopers pulled the driver over around 6:45 p.m. last Friday for a vehicle and traffic violation and discovered the vehicle had been reported stolen. Shavon Royal and his passenger, 28-year-old Harrison Mayfield, were both arrested and charged with fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property, fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property and third degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Royal was additionally charged with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after troopers say they found he had crack cocaine in his possession. Mayfield was additionally charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Both were taken to the Erie County Holding Center.
