BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Road rage apparently triggered a stabbing outside a gas station in the city's Lovejoy neighborhood.
Police say a male attacked another male about 4:30 Monday afternoon in the 1600 block of William Street. Authorities at the scene could be heard saying the victim would die if an ambulance didn't get there soon.
A Rural/Metro spokesman says the first call for help came in at 4:36. But because of a spike in volume, the first ambulance didn't arrive until 4:49, 13 minutes later.
The victim is in surgery at ECMC. Police do have a suspect in custody.
