GOWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Gowanda man was arrested Wednesday night for allegedly stabbing a man the night before.
On Tuesday, a stabbing victim drove himself to the Lake Shore Hospital in Hanover and State Police were called. The victim had a stab wound to the chest, and was later transported to ECMC where he currently remains in good condition.
The following day, troopers went to 35-year-old Johnny Bouknight's home in Gowanda and took him into custody without incident.
Bouknight is currently being held in the Erie County Holding Center on charges of first degree assault and fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon.
A Town of Tonawanda restaurant owner has been arrested and charged with strangulation and assault.
