LIMA, NY (WIVB) - There's a case of cattle rustling hitting the books just east of Buffalo.
A Lima man is charged with stealing two steers from a Lima farm back in November. Livingston County Sheriff's deputies charged Jeffrey Button, 41, with fourth-degree grand larceny.
The farmer who owns the animals puts their value at more than $4,000 but Button allegedly sold them at auction for just over $2,000.
Police nabbed Button on Monday in the Village of Perry.
