PERRY, N.Y. (WIVB) - For the second time this year, a 17-year-old girl from the Village of Perry has been arrested in connection to the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Troopers say Amber Reinisch was taken into custody after taking a person's car without permission, crashing it, and then fleeing the scene and abandoning the vehicle, causing it further damage.
The teen is charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and moving from lane unsafely.
Reinisch was taken into custody in July along with another teen on similar charges.
She's due back in court at a later date.
